Krabi is wind, salt, limestone karsts and emerald water. Most shoots involve a longtail at some point — which changes the outfit rules from a pure beach destination.

KEY: One bold outfit is the move.
What to wear
- Cream, ivory, sand — classic against karst grey and turquoise water
- Soft sage, dusty blue — harmonises with the water and the jungle
- Terracotta, mustard — warmth against the cool tones
- Avoid: pure white, all-black, neons — pure white over-exposes; black absorbs heat
Styling tricks
- Flowy fabric is your friend — wind off the Andaman moves dresses and shirts beautifully against the karst backdrops.
- Light colours win against the karst greys and water greens — cream, blush, sage, soft terracotta. Bright whites can blow out in tropical light.
What to avoid
- Long trains on a longtail — they catch on the boat
- Heels on sand or boats — barefoot or low wedges only
- Stiff fabrics — (denim jackets, heavy cotton) — they don't move in wind
- Pure white in monsoon season — gets sheer when wet, harder to keep clean
- Heavy makeup — humidity defeats it
Location-specific notes
For Railay/Phra Nang, classic flowing beach style — cream and blush silk, barefoot, hair down. For Tiger Cave Temple, cover shoulders and knees (it's a working temple) — light linen pants and a long-sleeve top work for both the climb and the temple. For Tubkaak/Klong Muang, classic resort wear — slip dresses, breezy linen.
